Creating an event on XTIX lets you start selling tickets online through your website, social media, blog, and more. You can also connect with distributors to expand your reach and boost sales before the event even begins.
Step-by-Step: Create an Event with Assigned Seating
Step 1: Start a New Event
Step 2: Add Event Details
Select the event category and tags
Enter the event name, upload a cover image, and add a description
Include age restrictions and display settings
💡 Tip: Make your event description exciting – mention artists, activities, and any extras like food, DJs, or workshops.
Step 3: Add the Venue
Step 4: Set the Date and Time
Step 5: Choose a Seating Map
Select a seating chart (if available)
Preview the map before selecting
If no map is available, send a layout image to [email protected] and we’ll upload it for you
Assigning Seats to Categories
Add Seats
💡 Tip: Select multiple seats by clicking the first seat, holding Shift, and clicking the last seat.
Remove Seats
Select the seats and click the "-" icon
Move Seats to Another Category
Select the seat and click the "+" next to the new category
⚠️ If you assign seats from different sections (e.g., Stalls and Balcony) to the same category, separate categories will be created for each section.

Set a fixed price directly in the category
If tickets are already on sale, you’ll need to confirm changes
Save or Delete Categories
Changes save automatically or when you click the save icon
To delete a category, use the Remove button in ticket settings

Click Next in the top left corner to continue setting up your event.
