You can offer more than one ticket type – like General Admission and Pair Ticket – in the same unassigned seating area (e.g. dance floor or fan zone), even if your event uses a seating map.

When to Use This

This is perfect for events with a venue map that includes non-seated areas, where fans can choose from different ticket options in the same space.

How to Set It Up

Step 1: Open Ticket Management

  • Go to your event’s ticket management

  • Or create a new event with a seating chart that includes a free-seating area (like a dance floor)

Step 2: Add the First Ticket Type

  • Click Add Category in the left sidebar

  • Enter the quantity (by selecting it on the map) and price

  • Click the “+” icon to assign it to the free-seating area

  • The area will be highlighted on the map

Step 3: Add Another Ticket Type

  • Click Add Category again

  • Enter details for the second ticket type (e.g. Pair Ticket)

  • Assign it to the same area by clicking the “+” icon

Step 4: Edit Category Settings (Optional)

  • Click the gear icon next to the category name

  • Update the name or settings if needed

  • Click Save

Now, both ticket types will appear in the same area on the seating map, and fans can choose the option that suits them best.
