You can cancel or reschedule events directly from your XTIX dashboard – no need to contact support. Once you make changes, we’ll notify all ticket holders, distributors, support teams, and your manager automatically.
Canceling an Event
You can cancel:
A full event
A single session of a recurring event
How to Cancel a Single Event
If you only see Remove Event, it means no tickets were sold. You can delete the event or stop sales.
A confirmation window will show:
Total sales
Refund amount
Your current balance
Click Cancel Event, then confirm with Yes.
✅ The event status will change to Canceled
📩 Ticket holders will get an email with refund info
🔁 Distributors will be notified to process refunds
💡 If your balance is too low, we’ll email you an invoice to top it up
How to Cancel a Session of a Recurring Event
Go to Events → Upcoming
Select the event
Find the session and click the gear icon next to its date
Click Remove or Cancel event
Review the refund details and confirm
Rescheduling an Event
Changing the Venue?
Please contact support via the chat in your dashboard.
Changing the Date (Same Venue)?
You can do it yourself – whether the new date is known or not.
How to Reschedule a Single Event
You’ll see a message explaining what will happen:
Choose one:
New date is known → Enter the new date
New date is unknown → The event will be moved 1 year forward (temporarily)
Click Reschedule Event, then confirm with Yes
✅ After rescheduling:
The event date updates
Ticket holders get updated tickets or a notification
You can update the date later if needed
How to Reschedule a Session of a Recurring Event
Go to Events → Upcoming
Select the event
Find the session and click the gear icon
Click Pause Ticket Sales
Click More → Reschedule Event
Choose a reschedule option:
New date is known → Enter the new date
New date is unknown → Session moves 1 year forward
Click Reschedule Event, then confirm with Yes
